Ghetto Kitchen Kookers
Four cooks, one pit, and a standing argument about brisket. We cook Deer Park, La Porte and Pasadena.
Who we are
A working team, not a hobby tent
Ghetto Kitchen Kookers is a four-founder competition barbecue team based in Deer Park, Texas. We cook local cookoffs around Deer Park, La Porte and Pasadena, and we treat every one of them the same way: same prep discipline, same timeline, same turn-in standard, whether the judging table is a sanctioned panel or a room of volunteers from the community.
What we can show you is the work — a season of cooks, books that are receipted line by line, and a tent that people come back to.
Between competitions we cook fundraisers and community plate sales. Those pay for entry fees and wood, and they are also the best practice a team can get: a real deadline, real volume, and people who tell you immediately if the brisket is dry.
If you have caught us at an event and want to talk about sponsoring, catering, or just how we run the pit, the door is open.
